Clinical Consultation

I offer clinical consultation for therapists who feel drawn to depth—those who resonate with psychodynamic thinking, attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and the power of being deeply present with another human being.

My consultation approach is grounded in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), which emphasizes emotional safety, experiential depth, and the belief that transformation happens most fully in the context of a supportive relationship.

This consultation may be especially helpful for therapists who are drawn to experiential or relational approaches to psychotherapy and want a space to deepen their capacity to stay emotionally present with clients. Whether you practice AEDP, psychodynamic therapy, emotionally focused therapy, or other depth-oriented approaches, consultation can support your growth as you continue developing your own therapeutic voice.

Just as in therapy, the relationship matters here. Consultation works best when therapists feel safe enough to bring curiosity, uncertainty, and vulnerability into the room. My aim is to create a space where we can explore clinical work together in a collaborative and emotionally attuned way.

Areas of Focus in Consultation

In consultation we might explore:

• developing and expanding our receptive affective capacity—learning to stay present with both our own emotions and our clients’

• understanding how our attachment patterns show up in the therapy room

• identifying our unique transformance qualities and therapeutic strengths

• discovering and trusting our authentic therapeutic voice

• cultivating co-regulation and relational presence with clients

• reflecting on professional growth, challenges, and areas of uncertainty in a supportive, nonjudgmental space

A Relational Space for Growth

In my own development as a therapist, consultation has been a place where I could bring the uncertain and vulnerable parts of myself and have them met with compassion. Through that experience I discovered my own therapeutic voice—not by striving, but by being supported and not alone.

That is the kind of space I hope to offer in consultation: one where curiosity, reflection, and emotional presence allow meaningful professional growth to unfold.

Getting Started

Because the relationship is so central to consultation, I offer a free initial meeting as a low-pressure opportunity to connect. This gives us space to see whether our working relationship feels like a good fit and whether this style of consultation resonates with you.

If you feel drawn to this kind of collaborative, experiential support, I would be glad to connect.

I also welcome therapists who are seeking their own therapy as part of their professional and personal development.
